Sheekooyin About Mount Tangkuban Boat

This treatise from West Java tells the story of Sangkuriang who loves his mother called Dayang Sumbi. The mother, who knew she was marrying her child, forced her to disrupt the marriage.

But suddenly his son agreed to the need for the place to drain the river and build a boat before entering the morning. Sangkuriang’s work became quickly concluded, due to the help the Demon had received from her.

Dayang Sumbi, who saw this, closed his mind to make a way to prevent the work from being completed. So he rolled a silk cloth to make it look like it was morning, and in such a situation she led her to vomit, thinking that the dawn had come.

However, Sangkuriang did not end his job at the time so he was furious because his proposal was rejected by his mother. So he avenged the rage he fired at her and kicked the ship he had made. The boat went down in the morning to become the mountain now known as Tangkuban perahu.

Of course, this legend from West Java  is very interesting to note to note that Tangkuban perahu is one of the most popular tourist attractions in  West Java  . Additionally, the mountain also looks like a boat so many people believe that in this story.

In addition to having an interesting story, this mountain also has a nice barnthat manypeople can love. In addition, many moral messages can be taken from the story, especially the relationship between mother and daughter.

Origins of Stories from Bandung City

Another movement from West Java is about the origins of the city of Bandung.   The story begins with a conflict between Jaka and a hero who is a student at one’s college. Where the character of the two is opposed but complete with one another to be like brothers.

However, conflicts begin when the same woman is sekar, the teacher’s daughter. Jaka, who has a nice face, eventually asks Sekar but his father without     his permission from putri accepts the suggestion.

But in fact Sekar likes Wira to restigate his proposal in a race to marry someone who can turn off the shadows of Tangkuban boats. In the end, Jaka and Wira looked for a way to win the race but Jaka was really unable to do that.

But he agreed but went after the jaka wandering instead of looking for a way to turn off the remains, and played with it. However, it’s different from what Wira did where he did different ways to be able to turn off the lava. Until he finally saw the water that made the sewer from the wood.

This eventually led him to find a way to externace lava. Until finally Wira crippled the Citarum River by beating it with a kur to raise the water of the river and until finally it could turn off the lava on the Tangkuban ferry mountain.

So in the end it makes the vessel pass through the sea, and in the end Wira and Zekar finally married and had children. However, after many years the dam collapsed, which caused the water discharge to rise, so that the sea water could wither.

This led to the appearance of soil-free land, prompting many people to move to the new site. Until finally this new place became the town of Bandung and its name was taken from the dam or wonder. This is  the  West Javanese arena that many people still don’t know.

Lutung Kasarung Ku saabsan Lutung Kasarung

An uninteresting commentary from West Java is about Lutung Kasarung where she tells the story of a princess named Purbasari encountering a profitable one as a prince who is cursed to be apes. Princess Purbasari herself was discarded by her brother because she was used so she seemed to be affected by a skin disease.

Cerita among the people of West Java langur kasarung.   It was because of a pain he had that he was thrown into the field and met the outskirts. The lake, who really loves purbasari, finally prayed for the picker to show up to the lake where she could heal her water with the skin of religion.

Then after the disease of his skin  was healed , p utri was finally taken back to the palace but the princess’s daughter’s sister, purbararang, became jealous and feared that her powers would be taken back to Purbasari. In the end, the elder brother asked the king to hold a competition, a quick cooking contest and hair length.

In both races, his younger brother became the winner so his older brother eventually asked the king to create a new race to determine he was the winner. Gender is about the person who is sharing well.

Until finally Purbasari came up with a puncture and presented him as his friend but his older brother mocked him because his friend was a flighter. As a result of the pain of depression he finally prayed to Allah to restore his old form and then to give it.

At the end of this  conflict in West Javanese,  Purbasari became the victor so he has the right to be  a dream royal man, and his brother Purbararang did not suffer punishment despite being proven guilty and lost.

 Folklore ku saabsan Nini Reef

Another  one of the West Javanese viruses  is  no less interesting is about the Nini Opinion where the story begins with a husband and wife and wife whose name can be blessed with children. To meet daily needs, the man will go to the sea and in the morning he will go home with the catch he will eat on his own or buy himself.

But one day the man was allowed to leave to sail at sea but until morning until morning the man had not yet returned home. The wife was horrified so she went to find her mistress with the other villagers. But one day the woman who finally surrendered prayed to Allah that He would unite you.

But suddenly a stone came out, which someone said the stone had hung from the man. The strange wife finally prayed to Allah for the carrier to be a stone like his mistress.

Of course, the two rocks are side by side and can still be seen from the coast around. So there are many lessons to be learned from the above story about the loyalty a wife has to her husband. When it is important for the younger generation to know  these Stereotypes of West Javanese. So there are many lessons that can be learned and applied in everyday life.
